Adult alternative pop ensemble 2AM Club make romantic, soul-inflected pop/rock centered around vocalist Marc Griffin. Formed in Los Angeles in 2007, the band eventually recorded a demo with producer and former Talking Heads guitarist Jerry Harrison. This led to an extended residency at the Derby in L.A., which drew attention to the band and helped build a strong local following. In 2008, the band signed with RCA and relocated to New York City. They released their debut album What Did You Think Was Going to Happen? in September of 2010. ~ Matt Collar
