Big City, a cross-collaborative formation between hip-hop groups the Beatnuts and Missin' Linx, was founded by Psycho Les, Al Tariq, and Problemz. Known before as Kool Ass Fashion, Al Tariq was an original member of the Beatnuts along with Psycho Les and Junkyard JuJu, but he departed the now duo in the mid-'90s after converting to Islam. One of his comeback efforts in the late '90s was Missin' Linx, a rap crew of which Problemz was also a part. Once the Big City trio got in the recording studio, beat-maker/MC Psycho Les led the group's musical direction, entirely producing their debut, The City Never Sleeps, released on Nature Sounds in 2007. ~ Cyril CordorPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
