Bio Full Biography »
The second son of J. S. Bach was a keyboardist, a composer of keyboard sonatas, and author of the "Essay on the True Art of Keyboard Playing," whose output includes chamber music, songs, and oratorios. His music marks the transition from the baroque to the classical style and features minute attention to the details of expression in the beautiful "empfindsamer Stil" (sensitive style), which led toward a more romantic style of music. ~ Blue Gene Tyranny
