Talented percussionist/composer Chichi Peralta has been recognized for creating his own style, known as Fusón, combining jazz, Afro-American, Afro-Cuban, and Latin rhythms. In 1997, the artist, from the Dominican Republic, recorded his first album, called Pa' Otro La'o, released in Latin America and the U.S., allowing the musician to get a Lo Nuestro Award.
