Christopher Caffery was born in 1967. Caffery is a guitarist who started playing in various bands, working into one called Heaven after a time. As that band was breaking up, he was asked to hook up with Savatage as a temporary second guitarist. After a time, he was offered the option to officially join the group. He left that band for a time to put together a group with his brother. Eventually, that band did not pan out and Caffery was back in the Savatage fold and has been there ever since. He is also involved with Savatage-related projects Doctor Butcher and Trans Siberian Orchestra. The muti-talented Caffery released his first solo album, a two-disc set called Faces in 2004, followed by the fifteen-track Warp in 2005. ~ Gary HillPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
