Christine Kane started her musical career like many other young struggling artists: performing in local bars, clubs, and coffeehouses, and then traveling to appear at colleges and festivals. Many reviews soon began comparing her singing style and sound to that of Mary-Chapin Carpenter and Rosanne Cash.
