Norteño/tejano group Costumbre were formed by Zapata High School graduate Manuel Edgar Luján and Mexican native José Zamora, Jr., making their debut with the release of a self-titled album on October 5, 1999. Costumbre returned in 2001 with Déjame Ser, featuring Billboard's Hot Latin Track "Y Ya Después."
