Biography
Johanngeorgenstadt, Saxony-based volksmusik (traditional German Alpine music) trio De Randfichten formed in 1992 around the talents of Thomas "Rups" Unger, Michael "Michl" Rostig, and (later) Thomas "Lauti" Lauterbach. First called Original Arzgebirgische Randfichten, the band changed its name to its current incarnation upon the release of Do Pfeift dr Fuchs in 1997.
