An alterna-pop band in the tradition of Weezer or the Foo Fighters, Dry formed in Toronto, Ontario, in 1995. After playing the local club scene for a couple of years, the group self-released their debut, The Wet Album, in 1997. Although The Wet Album is a fine slice of alternative rock, that scene had largely dissipated by this time, and the record didn't find either an audience or any major-label interest. Dry disappeared shortly after its first release. ~ Stewart MasonPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
