Following the breakup of the Olympia, WA-based group Desolation Wilderness, lead singer Nic Zwart began making recordings under the name Electric Sunset. Building, perhaps, on his former band's dreamy, reverb-laden sound, Zwart put together an album's worth of reverberating, auto tune-embellished, synth-washed pop tunes that gave a nod to the Bridal Shop, Miracle Fortress, and Houses. Electric Sunset's self-titled debut full-length was released on K Records in fall 2010. ~ Margaret Reges
