Crafting an ambitious sound they call "cinematic rock," Orange, CA's Eye Alaska feature singer/songwriter/programmer Brandon Wronski, guitarist/singer Cameron Trowbridge, guitarist/pianist/vocalist Chase Kensrue, bassist/vocalist Christopher Osegueda, and drummer Han Ko. Before the band formed in 2006, Wronski and Trowbridge played in the slightly harder-edged group Dead Letter Diaries. Eye Alaska spent the next two years writing and performing, including dates at the Bamboozle Left Festival, before they were signed by Fearless Records. In 2008, the band released its debut EP, Yellow & Elephant, which incorporated world music and film score influences into the band's rock foundation. They expanded their sound further on Genesis Underground, which featured production by Matt Wallace and arrived in summer 2008. ~ Heather PharesPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
