Heavy Bones

Heavy Bones was a short-lived hard rock act from the early ‘90s that came and went quickly as the metal genre was losing clout commercially. Formed in 1990 by vocalist Joel Ellis and Berklee-schooled guitarist Gary Hoey, the band fleshed out their line-up with drummer Frankie Banali, who had found great success as a member of Quiet Riot, and bass player Rex Tennyson.
