The alternative CCM/emo-pop group I'm OK You're OK formed in Memphis, TN, around the talents of lead singer Tyler Logan, bassist Zach Logan, drummer Anthony Rick, and guitarist Jeremy Morgan. The band landed its first record deal in 2009 with Dream Records, a Universal Christian Music Group partner label founded that year by the Los Angeles, CA-based organization Dream Center. I'm OK You're OK's first single, "Stories of Redemption," enjoyed some moderate success on the Christian rock radio charts that summer, peaking at number 32 in August. Leading up to the release of their debut album that fall, I'm OK You're OK played dozens of shows that underscored their desire to appeal to both secular and religious audiences; a performance at a youth event at the Angelus Temple (home to the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel) one week was followed the next week by an appearance at the Glendale Galleria Hot Topic store. I'm OK You're OK's debut full-length, Presents..., was released that September. ~ Margaret RegesPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
