Keyboardist Kingfisher was born in Sacramento, CA and began playing the piano at age 11, continuing his musical education through schooling, gigs with several rock bands and a female impersonator, and eventual session work on advertising jingles, film scores, and demos. A self-released album called Floating Upstream appeared in the early '90s, sold mostly in northern California and at Kingfisher's concerts. Following scoring work with local theater companies, Kingfisher issued his national debut album, Vesica Piscis, in 1999. ~ Steve Huey, Rovi
