A jangly guitar pop group with eight years under their belt, Milwaukee’s Jail got their big break when they signed a two-album deal with Sub Pop in November of 2009. With the new, more prominent label came a name-change to Jaill (note the extra L) when it was discovered another band shared their name. The sequel to their breakout success, There’s No Sky (Oh My My) was planned for the following year. That’s How We Burn, their first album recorded with outside help, was recorded in Milwaukee’s Mystery Room studio with Justin Perkins and officially released on July 27, 2010. ~ Jason LymangroverPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
