Named after the spaceship in the '60s television show Lost in Space, Brooklyn-based indie band Jupiter One make angular, post-punk, and psych-inflected rock. Formed in 2003, the band features singer/guitarist K Ishibashi, keyboardist Zac Colwell, keyboardist/violinist Mocha, bassist Ben Wright, and drummer Dave Heilman. Jupiter One released a self-titled debut album on Cordless in 2008. The band's second full-length album, Sunshower, followed in 2009. ~ Matt Collar
