Biography
Electronica ingenue Laila France was first hired by avant-popster Momus after she answered a newspaper ad asking for a singer reminiscent of Italian soft-porn films. With the production expertise of Momus, she released her 1997 debut album Orgonon for Bungalow Records and provided vocals for the self-titled album by the Japanese pop group Fantastic Plastic Machine. ~ John Bush
