Upon their formation in 1997, the individual members of March named themselves after one of the coldest months in their hometown of Toronto. Hoping to imply that their music is equally as "frigid and damp as the winter season," the quartet contains more of an emotional noise of aggressive metal with a lyrical topping of anxiety and constantly being by yourself. All of this was captured on the band's self-released debut EP entitled Moving Still in 2001. ~ Mike DaRonco, RoviPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
