Born Marilou Bourdon on September 20, 1990 in Longueuil, Quebec, Marilou was a pop singer who got her start on the 2001 television talent show Stars In The Home. In 2002, she recorded a duet with Gino Quilico, which land her even more television appearances. Her work gained the attention of René Angélil -- the man behind the success of Celine Dion -- who helped her score a contract with Sony Canada and Sony France. Her debut album, The Girl Who Sings, was released in 2005 in Canada and Europe.
