Matteo Becucci is an Italian pop/rock singer who rose to fame on the television reality show X Factor in 2008 before embarking on a hit solo career the following year. Born on August 4, 1970, in Livorno, Italy, he was the first-place winner of the second season of X Factor, defeating second-place runner-up the Bastard Sons of Dioniso on the season finale in April 2009.
