Maxim Rysanov

Maxim Rysanov is a Ukrainian-British violist and conductor, based in London. His viola teachers were Maria Sitkovskaya in Moscow and John Glickman in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama; his conducting instructor was Alan Hazeldine, also at the Guildhall School. Known primarily as a violist and secondarily as a conductor, Rysanov divides his attention between playing international festivals and conducting concerts around the world.
