Mic Harrison

Country-rock singer/songwriter/guitarist Mic Harrison was born and raised in Bradford, TN, where he formed a high-school band with drummer Jeff Bills, Carl Bell, and Jeff Abercrombie. (Bell and Abercrombie later went on to found Fuel.) When the band broke up, Harrison worked on a solo album and took a job at a sawmill, but in 1995 Bills, who had become a member of the alt-country Knoxville band the V-Roys, recruited him to replace departing lead guitarist John Paul Keith.
