New York-based pop quintet My Other Friend formed in Brooklyn in 2006 around the talents of Kelsey, Tobi, Holly, Andy, and Tara, a volatile crew that specializes in alternately bouncy and moody indie rock peppered with boy/girl harmonies that have drawn comparisons to everyone from Belle & Sebastian to Yo La Tengo and Arcade Fire.
