Heavy metal band from Argentina Riff was formed in 1980 by bassist V+¡ctor Bereciart+¦a, singer Juan Garc+¡a, guitarist Norberto Napolitano, drummer Michel Peyronel, and guitarist H+¬ctor Serafine. The band released its debut album called Ruedas De Metal in 1981, performing at Buenos Aires' Obras Sanitarias by the end of that year. After Danny Peyronel joined in 1983, Riff made a live recording, issuing in a double album called En Acci+¦n. At the beginning, the group was criticized for its extremely violent performances and even when Riff defended itself for playing that way, the band soon concentrated on its music, leaving behind its infamous aggressiveness. After a temporary breakup, Riff was reunited in 1985, this time joined by singer/guitarist Juan Antonio Ferreira and drummer Oscar Moro, later replaced by J. Morelli. In 1997, the band released Que Sea Rock. ~ Drago BonacichPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
