Biography
At the end of 1992, the four-man urban contemporary vocal group Shai shot to the top of the R&B and pop charts with their debut album, ...If I Ever Fall in Love, and its number one title track. Although they sometimes lack quality material, the smooth silkiness of their voices usually makes such weaknesses easy to ignore; the group has remained hot on the R&B charts, even if they haven't duplicated the pop success of their first single. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
