Inspired to create something new after a chance meeting with singer Tessa Murray at a train stop, American expatriate Greg Hughes formed London quartet Still Corners. With a sound that’s rooted in the reverb-drenched psychedelia of the '60s, the quartet, rounded out by members Leon Dufficy and Luke Jarvis, evokes the spacy experiments of the United States of America, as well as the expansive, cinematic sounds of Ennio Morricone, drawing upon European cinema for inspiration. In 2011, the band made its full-length debut on Sub Pop Records with Creatures of an Hour. ~ Gregory HeaneyPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
