A Los Angeles formed and based group, the Blood Arm -- Nathaniel Fregoso (vocals), Zebastian Carlisle (guitar), Dyan Valdès (piano and bass), Zachary Amos (drums), and Ben Lee Handler (master of ceremonies) -- first came together in 2003. They were quick to become critical sweethearts, eventually winning over writers from a number of worldwide pop and rock publications and columns with their live shows. The Blood Arm released their first album, Bomb Romantics, in 2004, and made an even deeper impression with their support appearances for Franz Ferdinand, Killers, Hot Hot Heat, and Spoon, as well as scoring the ‘Best Live Act' award at the 2005 South By Southwest Music Conference. The band singed with City Rockers, and released their follow up, Lie Lover Lie in 2006. ~ Chris True
