Biography

California-based the Librarians are a punk-pop combo made up of singer/guitarist Damon Larson, drummer Ben Adrian, bassist Lucas White, and hype-man/background vocalist Ryan Gan. The foursome came together in 2001 after Gan and Larson had hit the party circuit around Berkeley as the Librarians a few years earlier. Developing a poppy sound based in both parts Descendents and Elvis Costello, the group released The Pathetic Aesthetic on local indie Pandacide Records in 2002. The band soon dissolved, and Larson went on to form the power garage punk band Paranoids in 2003. ~ Bradley Torreano
