Short-lived, modestly popular band that played in the Liverpool style, although they weren't from Liverpool or the surrounding area. They cut a total of three singles, one for Oriole and two for Pye's Piccadilly subsidiary, of which the best was the second, a cover of "Love Or Money." By 1965, when they packed it in as a recording act with the single "The Girl Who Wanted Fame," the band's sound had taken on elements of folk-rock. This group has no connection with the Wackers who recorded for Elektra in the early 1970's. ~ Bruce EderPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
