Upon leaving the emo band Cursive in 1998, guitarist/vocalist Stephen Pedersen formed the White Octave with bassist Lincoln Hancock and drummer Robert Biggers; guitarist Finn Cohen joined up shortly thereafter. The band's debut album, Style No. 6312, was released in late 2000. ~ Steve Huey
