Tittsworth is a Baltimore club-inspired DJ/producer from Washington, D.C., who is a blogosphere favorite. Born Jesse Tittsworth, he grew interested in music during the mid- to late '80s and later got deeply into rave culture, particularly drum'n'bass. After the turn of the century, he began to establish himself as not only a DJ but also a producer. In 2006 he and DJ Ayres (of the Rub) founded T&A Records, an independent label on which they released their own productions along with those of close associates such as Dave Nada and A-Trak. In the meantime, Tittsworth productions began to circulate on MP3 blogs, and he regularly uploaded MP3 mixes for download on his MySpace page. Following EP releases on the labels Vicious Pop Records and Ammo Records, Tittsworth made his full-length album debut, Twelve Steps (2008), on Plant Music, the label of Stretch Armstrong. Comprised of 12 original productions, the album features vocalists including Pitbull, Nina Sky, DJ Assault, Kid Sister, Pase Rock, and the Federation. ~ Jason BirchmeierPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
