YC, aka Yung Chris (not to be confused with Young Chris of Young Gunz), is a rapper who hails from Decatur, Georgia. He made a major breakthrough in 2011 with his bouncy single “Racks,” a featured track on his mixtape Racks on Racks. During that summer, the song reached the upper rung of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which preceded a major-label debut album released through Universal. ~ Andy Kellman
