Augustin Hadelich

Augustin Hadelich is an Italian violinist. Born to German parents, Hadelich was raised in a musical family with two brothers who played cello and piano, while he took up the violin at age five. Hadelich developed into a prodigy, playing violin and piano and composing as a sideline. Hadelich suffered burns in a fire in 1999, which required treatment in Germany and more than a year of recuperation before he could play the violin again.
