Fusing Spanish power metal with folk, Latin, and prog, Asturias outfit Avalanch have been ever present on their homeland's rock scene since the early '90s. Originally named Speed Demons, founding members Juan Lozano (vocals) and Alberto Ardines (drums) changed their name to Avalanch in 1993 when they were joined by guitarist Alberto Rionda, bassist Francisco Fidalgo, and singer Victor Garcia.
