A Jamaican born, Canada based Reggae artist and performer, Blessed began writing tunes while still a young boy in the Caribbean. Moving to Canada at the age of 12, Blessed would hone his skills, and eventually became a respected hit maker, both critically and commercially. In 2002, Blessed won that year's Juno Award for Reggae with the single, "Love (African Woman)." The single was also a number one in a handful of countries.
