Bob Crane

Best known as Colonel Hogan on the classic TV series Hogan's Heroes, Crane was a stand-up comedian early on in his career, later moving on to TV with guest-starring roles on The Donna Reed Show and The Dick Van Dyke Show. This suave entertainer, one of TV's most popular personalities, was murdered in the mid '70s. ~ Larry Lapka
