Bob Gibson and Bob Camp (also known as Hamilton Camp) both had notable solo careers of their own. Gibson was an influential performer in the folk revival, doing a little to take traditional folk interpretations into a more imaginative realm, and an influence on performers such as Roger McGuinn.
