This US blues rock group were formed in the mid-60s in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area. Crow were originally called South 40 and released one album, Live At The Someplace Else under that name. In early 1968 the group won a contest and as a prize was signed to Columbia Records. The members at that time were brothers Dick and Larry Weigand on guitar and bass, respectively, Dave Wagner (vocals), and Kink Middlemist (keyboards).
