Fernando Suárez Paz

Fernando Suarez Paz is the world's leading tango violinist. He was a member of Astor Piazzolla's New Tango Quintet from the 1970s, well before Piazzolla's "tango nuevo" was accepted in Buenos Aires. He participated in the famous "Tango Nuevo" disc that turned things around for Piazzolla and his music, and has continued to play and record both classical and new-style tangos since Piazzolla's death in 1992.
