Australian actor-turned-musician Howard Eynon spent most of his childhood on a farm in rural Tasmania before leaving for Melbourne at age 17 to try his hand at theater. Throughout the '70s and early '80s Eynon worked in small productions in and around Melbourne, pursuing music mostly as a hobby. While traveling around the country participating in various shows and talent competitions, Eynon met producer Nick Armstrong, who invited him into the studio to work on a full-length album.
