Johnny Brown

This Johnny Brown, not to be confused with others bearing the name such as the bluesman Texas Johnny Brown, is a Kentucky picker and singer who has performed and recorded with leaders such as Dave Evans and his combo Red Wing. Some players from Brown's generation had a background in regional singles, not only in bluegrass but in the related genres of country and rockabilly.
