Jorge e Mateus are a Brazilian sertanejo duo who made their album debut with Ao Vivo em Goi+ónia in 2007. Founded in 2005 in Itumbiara, Goi+ís, Brazil, the duo comprises Jorge Alves Barcelos (born August 27, 1982) and Mateus Pedro Lidu+írio de Oliveira (born July 15, 1984). After a couple years of live performances, Jorge e Mateus signed a recording contract with Universal Music and made their full-length album debut with the Ao Vivo em Goi+ónia CD/DVD in 2007.
