Producer and programmer Kit Clayton, born in Evanston, Illinois but based in San Francisco, California, studied computer science and electronic music at Conneticut's Wesleyan College. Clayton learned in the electronic music lab, where he composed interactive pieces. After he graduated, he worked out of his basement studio in San Francisco, not only on music, but on audio software that helped create systems to generate music with randomization.
