Lenzman

Teije van Vliet is a drum'n'bass producer who records as Lenzman. Like many of the '90s drum'n'bass artists who have inspired him, the Netherlands, Amsterdam-based van Vliet applies samples sourced from outside genres -- including classic jazz and soul, as revitalized through golden age rap production -- to emotive tracks that prioritize musicality as much as raw dancefloor functionality.
