A gospel artist with a powerful voice and a passionate vocal style, Lowell Pye was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 28, 1970. Pye was only four years old when he began singing at services at the First Fellowship church in Detroit, and as a boy he was a member of a gospel vocal group, the Junior Echos.
