Atlanta-based sludge/stoner/alternative metal outfit Mastodon formed in 1999 around the talents of guitarist Bill Kelliher, drummer Br+ñnn Dailor, bassist/vocalist Troy Sanders, and guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds.
