Biography
Hailing from the San Francisco area, Rhythmtown Jive is the top area exponent of jump-swing blues, R&B styled originals and New Orleans style music. Originally named Five Guys Named Mo, they changed over to their current moniker when the band started expanding its membership, including keyboardist Caroline Dahl. The house band at the 15th annual Sacramento Blues Festival, they remain the hot backing band, having been the band of choice for Etta James, Richard Berry, Don & Dewey, LaVern Baker, Big Joe Turner, Bo Diddley and numerous others.
