The Late Call

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, the Late Call is the artistic moniker of German singer/songwriter Johannes Mayer. He made his debut in 2009 with Leaving Notes, a collection of warm, introspective, indie folk songs that showed off his rich voice and thoughtful songwriting. His 2010 follow-up, You Already Have a Home, followed suit, building on a classic singer/songwriter sound that recalled vintage John Martyn mixed with occasional Americana elements.
