First Polls Of 2016 Presidential Election Close

Polls have closed in 8 states and Donald Trump has an early lead with Trump earning 33 electoral votes and   Hillary Clinton wining 3. Trump is projected to win Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Indiana while Hillary is projected to win Vermont. 

The races in Virginia, Georgia, Ohio and are too close to call. 

North Carolina has extended some polls by 1 hour due to high voter turnout and issues with people checking in to vote. Ohio and North Carolina are key states for both candidates and the races are expected to be close.
