Fifth Harmony Gets Real About Camila Cabello Exit: You Can't Change People

Fifth Harmony appears on the newest issue of Billboard and, as you may have guessed, the cover story includes a portion dedicated to their former bandmate Camila Cabello

In the brand-new interview, which dropped on Wednesday (July 12), Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui open up (once again) about their long lost singing sister, who decided to leave the group to pursue her own solo ventures.

"I get to sleep at night knowing we did everything in our power as friends, bandmates and human beings," Normani Kordei said of the split, which went down in December. Ally chimed in on the controversy, which all Harmonizers saw coming at one point or another, admitting [that] "you can't change people."

However, Dinah didn't hold back on her thoughts regarding Cabello's impact on the group, letting the outlet know they're in a better place now since "there are no secrets" in the circle anymore. Lauren's commentary on the matter seemed to be the most telling though. "We'd put blood, sweat and tears -- and birthdays and funerals we missed -- into this thing," she said. "It's our livelihoods and our families. This is the train, and now you’re like, ‘Is the conductor going to come through with the coals, or are we left here to die?'"
